                                5 of 5 Stars

My ARC review for A Howl for a Highlander
                                          By: Terry Spear

                          Expected Publication : February 2013

I received this book as an ARC from the wonderful author Terry Spear. I have never been disappointed in any of her books and I definitely was NOT disappointed in this one. I absolutely LOVED it and I can't wait to read more of what she has to offer. Her writing style flows gracefully from one instance to another which makes it easy to read and understandable. Her descriptons and characters were so vivid that while reading it I could imagine being there and experiencing everything going on around me. For all the romance lovers out there, this book is definitely jam packed with it. What makes it better is that the hero of the story is none other than Duncan, a Highland wolf. Travelling to the Cayman Islands is not what he considers a vacation but he is determined to find the man that has stolen all of the pack's funds and return it to his pack. He ends up meeting a lone she-wolf that captures his attention and drives his highland heart wild. Duncan is not the alpha of his pack but his alpha personality makes him just as strong and lethal. I love how not only can he be a strong and lethal warrior but he also has a tender side when it involves the lovely and stubborn Shelley. Thrown together by unexpected circumstances they begin to work together as they embark on a dangerous road of securing the funds that were stolen from Duncan's pack from a greedy alpha while also trying to fight off the attraction to one another. Will Duncan and Shelley give in to their temptaion to mate and will he also succeed in getting the money returned that was stolen from his pack and return home safely?  Dangers follow them through the island paradise, especially Shelley, will her Highland warrior be able to keep her safe?

Hello everyone, I thought I would share with you about my first  novel that will be released on December 1st, 2012.  I'm so excited about it and I can't wait to share it with the world.  The book is called Forever Fae and it is classified as an Adult Fantasy.

Here's the blurb:

He leans down, lips parted, and then our lips connect……….We didn’t know that this one kiss has FOREVER changed the Land of the Fae.

According to the Prophecy proclaimed many years ago, Princess Calista of the Summer Court is destined to change the Land of the Fae from the evil determined to destroy it.  Her powers are phenomenal, and she secretly trains for battle with her handsome warrior friend, Merrick, who unbeknownst to her protects her heart as well, in hopes of keeping it for himself.  At least, until the seductive Prince Ryder attends the Guardian Ceremony and instantly sends a fire burning through her veins and a connection so deep they both discover a love above anything imaginable.

No one knows how Calista is destined to change the kingdoms, but there is one that does.  He not only craves Calista’s power, but her body as well, and his goal is to steal her power, make her his Dark Queen, and take over the Land of the Fae.

Will the evil succeed in claiming Calista’s soul?  Or will the two men that fight for her heart save her from despair, and help her fulfill her destiny to become what she was meant to be.

EXCERPT:

One
Someone wasspeaking. No, he was yelling. Itsounded angry, but my body refused to cooperate with my commands to open myeyes and be nosy. I tried to move my arms and again, there was no help from mylimbs. It didn't strike me as odd until then.
I heard, "All I'm saying is thatyou need to be on time from now on." Then a slammed door startled me. Ifelt my lungs suck in breath that burned and hissed unlike anything I'd everfelt before. It was as if my lungs no longer performed that function and wereprotesting.
Then I heard a noise, a gaspy sound, and my cheek was touched by warm fingers. "Emma?" I tried to pry myeyes and felt the glue that seemed to hold them hostage begin to let go."Emma?"
Who was Emma? I felt the first sliverof light and tried to lift my arm to shield myself, but it wouldn't budge.Whoever was in the room with me must've seen me squint, because the light wasdoused almost immediately to a soft glow. My eyelids fluttered withoutstrength. I tried to focus on the boy before me. Or maybe he was a man. He wassomewhere in between. I didn't know who he was, but he seemed shocked that Iwas looking up at him.
"Emma, just hold on. I'm yourphysical therapist and you're in the hospital. Your…" he looked backtoward the door, "parents aren't here right now, but we'll call them.Don't worry."
I looked quizzically at him. What washe was going on and on about? That was when I saw the tubes on my chestconnecting my face to the monitors. The beeping felt like a knife through mybrain. I looked at the stranger's hazel eyes and pleaded with him to explain.
He licked his lips and said softly, "Emma, you were in an accident. You've been in a coma. They weren't sure if…you'd wakeup or not."
Of everything he just said, the onlything I could think was, 'Who's Emma?'

Cover REVEAL for Beyond the Veil by Quinn Loftis

Book Blurb : Though the Serbian pack has been brought to heel thanks to the downfall of their Alpha, the war is far from over.
Desdemona, a witch of unfathomable power, has escaped the wolves’ wrath, but she will not go quietly into the night. She takes refuge in a place where even the smallest sliver of light does not dare to enter. Though she had to flee, she has not given up on the treasure she wishes to acquire. Her depravity knows no bounds; she's even willing to search for the one who can assist her in opening a Veil that has not been opened in millennia – with good reason: the danger is incalculable.

Meanwhile, there are major changes rippling through the Romanian Grey wolves. Decebel has become Alpha to the Serbian pack in an effort to begin to unite the Canis lupis species. Their numbers are dwindling in the wake of the shortage of true mates and lack of offspring. The wolves are beginning to lose faith and darkness seems to be crashing in on them from all sides. But the winds of change are blowing, changes that will alter the future of not only the Canis lupis, but of another ancient race as well.
Amidst all of this, Sally is continuing to come to terms with her relationship with the playful, charming, flirty, unbelievably handsome bartender – who happens to be a member of the Romanian pack.
If all that weren’t enough, the Fates have decided to pay a little visit to Jen. It’s time to collect. She cheated the Fates of a life, her life. Now they want what they are due. The problem? It’s more than Jen is willing to pay.
Yes, the war is indeed far from over. Bargains will be struck, declarations will be made, sacrifices will be given, love will be tested, and trust will be questioned as evil makes its stand against them all.

Author Bio Quinn is a 32 year old wife, mother, nurse, and writer, not necessarily in that order. She lives in beautiful North West Arkansas with her husband, son and Nora their Doberman pinscher. Quinn Loftis Giveaway!!!!

This wonderful author has so graciously agreed to let me have a rafflecopter giveaway with not just one of her books, but ALL of them.  Her first book Prince of Wolves is free on Amazon so I did not include it in this giveaway.  Her series is called the Grey Wolves series and they are amazing books.  Quinn Loftis was the first indie author I took a chance on reading, and I'm so glad I did.   I've read all of her books and I can't wait to read what else she has in store for us.

I have given all of her books 5 star reviews.  The characters in the books are well written and the stories are so captivating it'll keep you turning the pages until you reach the very end.  I have reread these books 3 times each so far.  I never grow tired of them and I long to read the witty banter between the friends Jacque, Jen, and Sally.  Their trio is filled with love, loyalty, and the special bond between a girl and her close friends.  The werewolves in the book are gorgeous, strong, loyal, and definitely driven crazy by the females in the book.  The books contain love, loss, friendship, excitement, lots and lots of humor, and of course danger.  When wolves want a mate, they will stop at nothing to get what they want.  Challenges will be thrown and fights will be fought to the death. They are all page turners and you will find yourself not wanting to stop until you reach that last page.
